Description
Narwiański National Park is a unique place on the map of Poland, often called the 'Polish Amazonia'. Vast wetlands with the anastomosing Narew River form a picturesque maze of channels, floodplains and oxbow lakes.
The park is famous for its abundance of birds - more than 200 species, including 28 endangered. Nature lovers can also admire 40 species of mammals, including moose, beavers and wild boar.
A unique attraction is the Waniewo-Sliwno footbridge, allowing visitors to walk among the marshes. The park also offers excellent conditions for kayaking and bird watching from observation towers.
