Description
Castle Hill/Drohiczyn is a unique historical site with a fascinating past. A medieval castle from the 14th century once stood here, which was destroyed during a Swedish invasion.
Today, the site offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Bug River and surrounding wooded areas. At the top of the hill is a memorial obelisk from 1928, commemorating the 10th anniversary of Poland's independence.
At the foot of the mountain you can find a miraculous spring, which was attributed with healing properties during a cholera epidemic in 1710.
