Description
The Solina Dam is the largest dam in Poland, forming the picturesque Solina Lake in the heart of the Bieszczady Mountains. With a height of 81.8 meters and a length of 664.8 meters, this impressive structure is a true gem of the region.
Since 2022, an additional attraction has been a gondola railroad connecting Plasz Mountain and Jawor Mountain, offering breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The final station features an observation tower with a glass platform.
Lake Solina is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts - sailing, kayaking or kitesurfing. The surrounding hiking trails will satisfy hiking and biking enthusiasts.
