Český Šternberk Castle

Český Šternberk Castle is a unique Gothic castle dating back to 1241 that has remained in the hands of the same Sternberg family for more than 700 years.

Stunning in its architecture combining Gothic, Baroque and Rococo styles, it offers visitors fifteen richly decorated chambers.

Of particular note is a rare collection of 545 copperplate engravings depicting the history of the Thirty Years' War, as well as historical weapons and hunting trophies.

During the summer, falconry demonstrations are an additional attraction, showcasing a tradition dating back more than 4,000 years.
