Wigierski Park Narodowy

Wigierski National Park is a true paradise for lovers of nature and active recreation.

In an area of more than 15,000 hectares you will discover the picturesque Lake Wigry with its unique 'S' shape, dense forests, marshes and meadows. The park offers 160 kilometers of hiking trails and 116 kilometers of biking trails, as well as the opportunity to go canoeing on the wild Czarna Hańcza River.

A unique attraction is the 17th-century Camaldolese monastery located on the peninsula of Lake Wigry. Even in high season, the park retains a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for observing rare bird species, including the majestic bald eagle.
