Playa de la Tejita

Playa de la Tejita is one of the largest and most beautiful beaches in Tenerife. Over a kilometer of bright sand and crystal clear water, surrounded by a picturesque landscape with the majestic red mountain Montaña Roja in the background.

The eastern part of the beach is popular with naturists, and strong currents and winds make the place a paradise for windsurfers and kitesurfers - it even hosted the World Windsurfing Championships in 2015.

You can rent deck chairs and umbrellas on the beach, and have a snack at the small beach bar. The lack of buildings and restaurants makes it an ideal place for a picnic or a quiet stroll along the shore.
