Description
Unstad Beach is a true surfers' paradise located in the picturesque Lofoten Islands in Norway.
The beach is famous for its excellent surfing waves, which attract both beginners and advanced surfers. The water temperature ranges from 8 to 14°C, allowing surfing all year round, although the best conditions are from March to the end of August.
Surrounded by majestic mountains and adorned with smooth boulders along the shoreline, the beach offers unforgettable views and is a dream destination for photographers. The area also provides numerous hiking trails, including the historic route between Unstad and Eggum.

Andrea Gentilia week agoMostly a surfers beach, not so many tourists in here. Lots of sheep around. Parking needs a small fee via Svipper, bank transfer or cash. It is also a good starting point to an easy hike to a small but super quiet lake.
Matias Nordahl Carlsen9 months agoVery Nice surf Beach with consistant waves! The Lofoten Surfsenter is located pretty close to the Beach and rent out everything you need for a surf, including great instructors! Coffe is free which creates a Good vibe.
harmen k11 months agoThis is a fantastic surf beach with great waves, not too busy. Good surf shops in the area to rent from. So beautiful and fun. And you’re surfing in the Arctic circle :)Related categories
