Description
Stearns Wharf is the oldest wooden pier in California, operating continuously since 1872. This historic landmark survived an earthquake in 1925 and powerful storms in 1983, a testament to its unique construction.
The pier offers breathtaking views of the Santa Barbara coast, the Santa Ynez Mountains and the Channel Islands. It's an ideal spot for anglers, who can catch a variety of fish, including granica, mackerel and halibut.
The pier is home to the famous Dolphin Fountain and the Santa Barbara Sea Center Natural History Museum with interactive exhibits and live marine animals.
