The Wisłoujście Fortress. A branch of the Gdansk Museum is the oldest coastal fortress on the Polish coast, with a history dating back to the 13th century.

This architectural gem combines Gothic, Renaissance and Neoclassical styles, witnessing changing eras and cultural influences.

The heart of the fortress is a Gothic-style circular tower, which served as a lighthouse until 1785.

Every year, reconstruction groups and historians organize naval battles, workshops of ancient crafts, conferences and lectures on the fortress grounds, which take participants on a fascinating journey through the centuries.
