Description
Tonsai Beach is a charming corner on the Railay peninsula in Krabi province, known for its unique hippie atmosphere.
It's a rock climbing paradise - the majestic limestone cliffs offer routes for both beginners and experienced climbers.
In addition to climbing, the crystal clear waters encourage snorkeling and kayaking, allowing exploration of the scenic coastline and nearby islands.
In the evening, beach bars invite you to relax with a cold beer and enjoy spectacular sunsets. An ideal destination for backpackers, adventurers and nature lovers.

Erik Eriksson3 months agoProbably the most secluded and one of the most beautiful beaches in Krabi. Compared to Railey beach this beach has no people on it.
If you walk to the far end of Railay beach (west side) there will be some rocks you can climb over which lead to a rocky jungle path that takes about 10 minutes to get through (a bit challenging). When the tide is low you can walk around the rocks to reach the beach.
When you make it to the end, you are awarded with a much more private and beautiful beach! The cliff faces are incredible and it really is the pinnacle of tropical island views. A must see if you're in Railay! You can do rock climbing and relaxing. The sand on the beach is a little more rough than other beaches and that’s is why I give a 4 stars. You can also take a kayak from Ao Nang.
Ethan Hartz3 weeks agoUnderrated beach, part of me wanted to rate one star so that nobody goes, however the vendors and locals on ton sai deserve recognition for their warmth and they deserve business! The place is incredible and my visit in low season was almost completely alone.
Marinela Ciubuc2 months agoGreat beach only if the weather is good! We went in May and as the weather turned around the water was dirty and not very nice. It can be reached only via the long tail boat and on the way back it was absolutely horrific as there was wind and waves and the boat ride was extremely dangerous. Go with caution.Where are we?
