Description
The route to Zawrat is one of the most scenic high altitude routes in the Polish Tatra Mountains. This challenging but extremely rewarding route leads through the Caterpillar Valley, offering breathtaking views of the Tatras' sharp peaks and crystal clear lakes, including the spectacular Black Caterpillar Pond.
The route features steep climbs and technical difficulties, making it ideal for experienced hikers looking for a challenge. The hike takes about 2-3 hours from Murowaniec to Zawrat Pass, and along the way you can admire the charming Green and Long Ponds.
