Krasnal Chrapek

Dwarf Chrapek is a charming bronze sculpture depicting a sleeping dwarf in a comfortable crib, located on Kielbaśnicza Street in Wrocław.

This unique dwarf, with an outstretched arm and sleepy expression on his face, is part of a larger family of Wrocław dwarves that have become an iconic symbol of the city.

Chrapek has a special meaning for residents, who often dress him up and decorate him with flowers. He is not only a charming tourist attraction, but also a reference to the Orange Alternative movement of the 1980s, which used humor to peacefully oppose the communist authorities.
