CETHA Grimanesa Amorós

CETHA Grimanesa Amorós is a monumental light sculpture at the entrance to the historic Civita di Bagnoregio. The 4.6m x 3m x 1.5m installation combines LED technology with Etruscan history—the name 'CETHA' means 'sun' in the Etruscan language.

Red lights with pink hues intertwine through the windows and towers of ancient architecture, creating an ethereal atmosphere. The work of a Peruvian-American artist combines the past with the present, looking its most beautiful at dusk and at night, when the full light sequence brings the stone walls to life.
