Riverview Park

Riverview Park is a 251-acre natural oasis on the north side of Pittsburgh, where dense forests meet history. Established in 1894, the park hides real treasures—the historic Allegheny Observatory with the Fitz-Clark telescope, where you can admire the stars during Friday tours, and the renovated Chapel Shelter, a former Presbyterian church. Steep trails lead through wild terrain, ideal for hiking, horseback riding, and biking enthusiasts. In the summer, the park comes alive with free jazz concerts and movie screenings on Observation Hill.
