Description
The Lesniewo Upper Lock is an impressive structure that was part of the unfinished Nazi-era Mazurian Canal project.
This massive concrete structure, 46 meters long and 7.5 meters wide, with a 17-meter drop, hides a fascinating history and local legends. According to local legends, the Reichsadler eagle that was supposed to decorate the sluice fell into the water and was never found.
Today, the site offers the added attraction of a rope park, allowing visitors to climb to the top of the structure and enjoy panoramic views of the area. It's the perfect combination of historical curiosity and adventure for outdoor enthusiasts.
