Opole's Main Square is a historic square that has retained its medieval charm despite the turbulent history of the region. Surrounded by beautiful restored townhouses from various eras, it is the heart of the city.

It is dominated by the Neo-Renaissance Town Hall with its 65-meter tower, inspired by Florence's Palazzo Vecchio. Of note is the historic Tenement House under the Lion, dating back to the Middle Ages.

The square is bustling with numerous cafes and restaurants, where you can try traditional pierogi and other Polish specialties. Seasonal fairs and cultural events are often held here to experience local traditions.
