Description
The Żurawiniec Nature Reserve is a unique oasis of greenery in the northern part of Poznań. Established in 1959 on the initiative of Helena Szafran, it protects the remnants of the transitional peatland ecosystem.
Despite the degradation caused by human activity, rare plant species can still be found here, such as marsh marsh marigold and common anthracantha.
This is an ideal place for a quiet walk and an outdoor ecology lesson. The small area of the reserve (1.67 hectares) makes visiting comfortable and does not take long.
