Description
Praga Park is an oasis of greenery in the heart of Warsaw's Praga district, established between 1865 and 1871.
The historic park impresses with its star-shaped layout of alleys and rich tree stand - you will find poplars, maples, lindens, elm trees and many other species.
It is an ideal place to relax among nature, take a walk with the family or have a picnic on the grass. The park is famous for its distinctive giraffe sculpture from 1981 and a monument to writer Eliza Orzeszkowa.
An additional attraction is the vicinity of the Warsaw Zoological Garden, making this place an excellent starting point for further sightseeing.
