Description

'Polish Carcassonne' - the medieval town of Szydłów is a unique place where history comes alive at your fingertips. Preserved 14th-century defensive walls made of local limestone stretch for 1,080 meters, surrounding the picturesque medieval town.

A 14th-century castle with a museum, a 16th-century synagogue - one of the oldest in Poland - and an unusual Torture Chamber with an exhibition of medieval tools await discovery in Szydłów.
