The Czapski Palace is an exceptional example of Rococo architecture in the heart of Warsaw. Built between 1686 and 1705 by Tylman van Gameren, it has been home to many notable figures, including Frederic Chopin.
Today it houses the Academy of Fine Arts and a museum with a collection of 30,000 works of art. The palace impresses with decorative elements such as alcoves and allegorical figures of the Four Seasons.
The Chopin Salon with period furniture and memorabilia of the composer is a real treat for music lovers. The palace regularly hosts interesting exhibitions and cultural events.
