Description
South Park is an oasis of tranquility in the heart of Wroclaw, founded in 1877 by Julius Schottländer.
Designed in the style of an English landscape garden, it offers picturesque meadows surrounded by tall trees and a large pond with fountains. The park's most striking feature is the nearly 4-meter-tall statue of Frederic Chopin, added in 2004, depicting the composer sitting on a sofa with his fingers moving.
For the active, there is a playground, a dog zone and an outdoor gym. After your walk, you can relax at the Agawa restaurant or enjoy natural ice cream at a nearby food court.
