Description
The Zamosc Town Hall is a gem of Renaissance and Baroque architecture, part of UNESCO. The majestic building with its distinctive clock tower and ornate staircase catches the eye of every passerby.
The traditional bugle call, which has been played again in the four directions since 2020, resounds from the city hall tower. It was previously banned by Hetman Jan Zamoyski for political reasons.
The interior of the town hall hides a museum of local history, where you can learn about the history of the city and its inhabitants. Note the beautiful vaulted ceilings and the Baroque portal with the city's coat of arms carved in stone.
