Description
Sniezka is the highest peak in the Giant Mountains and the entire Sudetes, rising 1,603 meters above sea level on the Polish-Czech border.
It is characterized by a harsh alpine climate with violent weather changes and winds exceeding 100 km/h. There are two unique attractions at the summit: a futuristic meteorological observatory resembling a flying saucer and the St. Lawrence Chapel from the 17th century - the highest religious building in Poland and the Czech Republic.
A variety of trails of varying difficulty lead to the summit, offering breathtaking views of the Jeleniogórska Valley and rugged mountain landscape.
