The Sports Hall of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center in Lodz is a historic sports facility with unique modernist architecture.
Built between 1948 and 1957 to a design by engineer Włodzimierz Prochaski, the hall impresses with its distinctive colonnade and unique enclosure.
With a capacity of up to 9010 people (including 6710 seats), it is an ideal venue for basketball and volleyball matches and other sports and cultural events.
The venue has hosted prestigious international competitions, including the 2008 CEV Champions League final, as well as the Miss and Mister Supranational beauty contests.
