The Lion Hevelion - Lord of the Seas is part of a unique series of bronze sculptures scattered around Gdansk. This 50-centimeter statue refers to John Hevelius, the famous Gdansk astronomer, and the symbolism of the lion, which has been on the city's coat of arms for nearly 550 years.
