Barbakan Warszawski

Warsaw's Barbican is one of the capital's most distinctive monuments, part of the former city fortifications.

This round-shaped brick building from the 16th century is an excellent example of Renaissance defense architecture. Walking around the walls, you can feel the spirit of history and imagine what life was like in old Warsaw.
