Parque Nacional Submarino La Caleta

Parque Nacional Submarino La Caleta is an underwater paradise located near Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. This unique 12-square-kilometer marine park impresses with its crystal clear waters and rich ecosystem.

It's an ideal place for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts, where you can enjoy colorful coral reefs, sea turtles and a variety of fish species. A special attraction is the Hickory shipwreck, sunk in 1984, which has become home to many sea creatures.

The park also offers access to the Ethnological and Archaeological Museum with a collection of artifacts of the Taíno people.
