Description
The Ignacy Jan Paderewski Skaryszewski Park in Warsaw is a historic oasis of greenery established in 1905.
On 55 hectares you will find wide avenues, picturesque hills, waterfalls and a lake that is a remnant of the former Vistula riverbed.
It's a wilder and more casual alternative to the Baths - with lush shrubbery, duck ponds and hidden paths. The park also hides monuments, including one commemorating Allied pilots from the Warsaw Uprising.
Here you can picnic, feed the birds, rent a canoe or simply enjoy the tranquility among the diverse vegetation and historic landscape.
