Description

The Citadel Park is a unique place where history meets nature and art. Located on the site of the former Fort Winiary, it offers a fascinating journey through the history of Poznan.

Discover two military museums with free admission on Fridays, the monumental Monument to Heroes and the Bell of Peace and Friendship Among Nations.

Strolling through the alleys, you'll come across the geometrically arranged Rose Garden with its installation of 112 anthropomorphic figures by Magdalena Abakanowicz. The park is also home to century-old trees and more than 500 species of insects - the perfect place for a picnic, jogging or cycling.
