Description
The Zoobotanical Garden in Toruń is a unique place combining a zoo and a botanical garden in one. Founded in 1797, it is one of the oldest facilities of its kind in Poland.
About 72 species of animals and 79 species of plants, including rare and exotic specimens, await visitors. Children can feed goats, sheep and donkeys in the mini-zoo, and enjoy horseback rides in the summer.
The garden has a herpetarium with amphibians and reptiles, and a birdhouse with exotic birds surrounded by palms and orchids. Since 2016, the facility has been adapted for the blind and visually impaired, making it an accessible attraction for all.
