Description
The Kadzielnia Nature Reserve is a fascinating corner of Kielce where nature meets history. A former limestone quarry (in operation from 1770 to 1962) has been transformed into a unique geological reserve with impressive rock formations from the Devonian period.
Numerous attractions await visitors: a modern amphitheater with 5,000 seats, an underground tourist route leading through three caves (Discoverers, Prochownia and Szczelina na Kadzielni), where fossils of marine animals can be admired, and an exciting tyrolean ride - one of the longest in Poland. An ideal place for lovers of geology, nature and active recreation.
