Description
The Bialowieza Forest is one of the last primeval forests in Europe, listed by UNESCO. This unique ecosystem impresses with its extraordinary biodiversity - more than 800 species of vascular plants, 3000 species of fungi and 52 species of mammals.
The biggest attraction is the majestic bison - Europe's largest land mammals, which can be observed from safe viewing platforms.
The park offers numerous hiking and biking trails, as well as mandatory guided tours of strictly protected zones that allow you to explore this remarkable ecosystem without disturbing its balance.
