Description
The Cultural Reserve 'Park Mużakowski' is a unique place on the Polish-German border, the largest English-style park in both countries. Designed by Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau, it is a true 'painting with plants'.
This UNESCO World Heritage Site impresses with its harmonious combination of nature and architecture. The 728 hectares feature picturesque lakes, waterfalls, bridges and pavilions.
The park can be explored on foot, by bicycle or by horse-drawn carriage. Especially noteworthy are the New Castle, the Old Castle and the 3.5-kilometer-long Scenic Axis with beautiful perspectives.
