Park Narodowy Peneda-Gerês

The Peneda-Gerês National Park is the only national park in Portugal, stretching over an area of almost 700 km².

This magical place impresses with its mountainous landscape with granite cliffs, picturesque waterfalls and natural pools where you can cool off during hot days.

The park offers numerous hiking trails, including the popular Seven Lagoons Trail, as well as opportunities for water and extreme sports such as canyoning.

History buffs will appreciate the megalithic structures, Roman remains and medieval monasteries and castles scattered throughout the area.
