Description
The Pawiak Prison Museum is a place of national remembrance that brings to light the tragic history of the Warsaw prison that operated during World War II.
The exhibition documents the fate of thousands of prisoners who passed through the walls of Pawiak during the German occupation. Authentic memorabilia, photos and documents create a moving story about the suffering, courage and heroism of Poles.
This is a unique place on the map of Warsaw, which prompts reflection on the difficult history of Poland and pays tribute to the victims of Nazi terror.
