Description

The Krosno Crafts Museum is a unique place housed in a historic Art Nouveau building known as the 'House with a Clock'.

The museum presents a fascinating exhibition titled 'History of the Craft of Southeastern Poland' arranged in six small workshops. The exhibit includes craft documents from the 18th-20th centuries, as well as craft tools and products from the 19th and 20th centuries.

A unique experience is the opportunity to learn interactively about old professions such as blacksmithing and barbering. The entrance ticket also includes a tour of the Cellar Under the Shadows and the Farna Tower.

avatarAnna Sekowska5 years agoSmall museum with a lot of exhibits and a very knowledgeable guide who could tell a lot of stories about the place and the items presented there. It was all in Polish though, so I can't tell how it works for foreigners.
avatarlukasz wojnarowski2 years agoThere are museums that, despite not being large, are interesting to visit thanks to a guide. This museum definitely has that in it :).
avatarIgor Steinmetz3 years agoDespite its "pocket" size, the Museum's diverse exhibition is very interesting and certainly worth seeing, especially for the generation that has less and less contact with real craftsmen. Museum employees provided comprehensive information about the exhibits presented. It is also worth going to the Parish Tower, where, in addition to the view from above, you can see the exhibits and exhibitions presented. During the Carpathian Climates event, very interesting meetings with local craftsmen were organized. In addition to seeing their workshop up close, there was the opportunity to try your hand at molding clay and weaving wicker. An unforgettable experience was a night tour of three churches in Krosno - during which the employees of the Museum and Tourist Information presented the history of the city in an extremely interesting and accessible way. This way of promoting Krosno makes you want to spend your holiday here again. Thank you and greetings from Szczecin
