Muzeum Historyczne - Oddział Muzeum Podlaskiego

The Historical Museum - Podlaskie Museum Branch is a fascinating journey back in time through the history of Bialystok and the Podlasie region. It is housed in an Art Nouveau building from the early 20th century, formerly known as the Cytron Palace.

The museum boasts a rich collection of archives and iconography illustrating the region's past. Particularly noteworthy are the Numismatic Cabinet with 16,000 coins and medals, as well as a unique collection of memorabilia related to the Tatar settlement on the border of Poland, Lithuania and Belarus.

The gem of the exhibition is a model of Bialystok from the 18th century, giving a comprehensive picture of the historical development of the city.
