Description

The Olêder Ethnographic Park in Wielka Nieszawka (Ethnographic Museum in Torun) is the first open-air museum in Poland dedicated to the Olêder settlement of the 16th century.

On an area of more than 5 hectares you will discover a reconstructed Olender village with a characteristic 'swamp row' layout. Three full farms from the 18th and 19th centuries, relocated from the Lower Vistula Valley, allow you to travel back in time and learn about the life of the Mennonites - Protestant settlers from Holland and Friesland.

The farmland, meadows, gardens and orchards surrounding the buildings create an authentic rural landscape, perfect for a family stroll amidst history.
