Muzeum Panorama Racławicka Oddział Muzeum Narodowego we Wrocławiu

The Panorama Racławicka Museum, a branch of the National Museum in Wrocław, is a unique cultural gem, presenting a monumental work of painting 15 meters high and 114 meters in circumference.

The impressive canvas, created by Jan Styka and Wojciech Kossak in 1893-1894, depicts the victorious 1794 Battle of Raclawice, where Tadeusz Kosciuszko's army defeated the Russian army.

As much as 750 kg of paint was used to paint the panorama! The museum building, with its characteristic oval shape, is itself a monument listed in 1991.
