Description

The Kielce History Museum is a fascinating journey through the history of the city from the Middle Ages to the present day.

In the historic 19th century building, visitors can enjoy the permanent exhibition 'From the History of Kielce' including medieval coins, weapons, ceramic fragments and everyday objects.

Especially valuable are archaeological discoveries, including a fragment of a wooden hut from before St. Adalbert's Church and a treasure from Malogoszcz consisting of 437 coins. The collection of more than 22,000 artifacts also includes Sarmatian portraits and the room of Jozef Szermentowski with his famous painting 'Geography Lesson'.
