Description
World War II War Cemetery is a memorial site of special historical significance.
Located in the forest, it has a rectangular shape surrounded by a metal fence with three rows of 10 graves each. Each grave is made of concrete and marked with the inscription 'Unknown soldier, fallen on the field of glory'.
In the central part is a stone monument commemorating Polish soldiers killed in September 1939, including Eng. Walery Bigay-Mianowski and Lt. Jan Bochenek, as well as 25 unknown soldiers. A separate monument is dedicated to Stanislaw Weiss, who was awarded the Order of Virtuti Militari.
