The Castle. The Museum of the Silesian Piasts in Brzeg is a monumental monument from the 13th century, called the 'Silesian Wawel'.

Its Renaissance gate from the 16th century is decorated with bas-reliefs of Polish kings and Silesian princes, making it a true architectural gem. Inside the castle are magnificent cloisters with Ionic and Corinthian style columns.

The castle was named one of the 7 New Wonders of Poland by National Geographic Traveler in 2013. It is an ideal place for lovers of Silesian history, architecture and culture.
