The Royal Palace in Wroclaw is a fascinating place where history comes alive before your eyes. Originally built in 1717 as the seat of the Prussian monarchy, this Baroque building combines the styles of Viennese Baroque, Rococo and Florentine Renaissance.

It now houses the Wroclaw City Museum, with impressive displays dedicated to Frederick the Great and reconstructions of the original palace interiors. A special attraction is the Museum of Medallic Art with a collection of 50,000 medals, medallions and plaques showing Poland's history and cultural heritage.
