Description
The Natural History Museum in Wroclaw is a true treasure trove of knowledge about the natural world. Founded in 1814, it is one of the oldest natural history museums in Poland.
The impressive collection includes more than 2.5 million animal specimens and 0.5 million plant specimens. Among the unique exhibits are the skeleton of a Giant Deer, the skull of an Aurochs and the only complete skeleton of a Blue Whale in Poland.
The museum also displays specimens of extinct species such as the Giant Alka and the Sack Wolf, making it a fascinating place for nature and science lovers of all ages.
