Mural "700"

Mural '700' is an impressive 100-meter street art piece commemorating the 700th anniversary of Lublin's founding.

This unique artistic composition, located along the embankment of the Chekhovka River, depicts a documentary collage of archival photographs of the Jewish quarter of Podzamcze in the 1930s.

The mural is part of the project 'Lublin. Holocaust Remembrance', paying tribute to the city's rich Jewish heritage. It also includes a fragment of a poem by Jakub Glatstein, a prominent Jewish poet from Lublin, and a 1928 city plan with the Jewish quarter marked.
