Description
Mu Ko Chang National Park is a true paradise for nature and adventure lovers. It encompasses more than 50 islands and 650 square kilometers of diverse ecosystems - from lush rainforests to turquoise waters with colorful coral reefs.
The park is famous for its picturesque waterfalls, including Klong Plu and Than Mayom (the latter was visited by Kings Rama IV and V). The wealth of fauna includes reef sharks, pythons, king cobras and numerous species of birds, including great hornbills.
This is an ideal place for snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking and trekking through the dense jungle. The best time to visit is November-March, when the temperature is 27-30°C.
