Description
The Cathedral Church of St. Stanislaus and St. Wenceslaus is an architectural gem of Swidnica, combining Gothic majesty with Baroque splendor.
The unique western façade with four portals decorated with statues of saints and symbols of evangelists is a rare example of Gothic architecture.
The interior impresses with a 1535 star vault, six side chapels and a twelve-sided crypt. Baroque decorations, polychromes and sculptures by Johann Riedel and Georg Leonhard Weber complete this unique sacred monument.
