Las Salinas

Las Salinas is a picturesque saltwater lagoon in the heart of Calpe, home to diverse flora and fauna. It's a place particularly known for its flamingos and more than 170 species of birds that attract nature lovers from all over the world.

The walking path surrounding the lagoon offers breathtaking views, especially at sunset, when the pinkish waters contrast with the green of the surroundings and the majestic Peñón de Ifach in the background.

The area also has historical significance - salt mining took place here as early as Roman times. It's the perfect place for a leisurely stroll, jog or bike ride surrounded by extraordinary nature.
