Pomnik Jana Pawła II w Toruniu

The John Paul II Monument in Toruń is an impressive 3.5-meter bronze sculpture depicting a seated pope on a granite pedestal.

The monument is located in Torun's Planty Park, not far from the historic center of the city. The sculpture bears the pope's distinctive signature and a plaque commemorating his ties to the city as an Honorary Citizen of Toruń and honorary doctorate of Nicolaus Copernicus University.
