Description
The Lublin Opera House is a cultural jewel of the eastern region of Poland, offering a rich repertoire of operas, operettas, musicals and ballets. The theater has a fascinating history dating back to 1947, when it was established as a Private Musical Theater.
The repertoire includes classical works such as 'Carmen', 'La Traviata' and 'The Magic Flute', as well as popular operettas such as 'The Gypsy Baron' and 'The Merry Widow'. As one of two opera theaters in eastern Poland, it plays a key role in promoting Polish cultural heritage.
Performances attract both locals and tourists from abroad, and the diverse program means there is something for everyone.
